Syrian army kills terrorist ringleaders, destroys al-Nusra Front training camp

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has killed several terrorist ringleaders in Quneitra countryside and has destroyed a training camp for al-Nusra Front in Idleb countryside.

According to a military source, army units pounded a hideout of al-Nusra Front ringleaders in Em al-Azem town and targeted terrorist organizations in Jabbata al-Khashab and al-Hamedeyeh towns in Quneitra countryside.

Many terrorists were killed and injured in the said towns, the official news agency (SANA) said, indicating that the Israeli enemy supports terrorist organization sin Quneitra countryside.

The agency, in addition, said that army units in cooperation with popular defense groups clashed with two ISIS terrorist groups that infiltrated from Kherbet Sa’ada area into Tal Bothaina and from al-Saqeyeh town into al-Harfosh farm in the northeastern countryside of Sweida.

The clashes resulted in the death of many terrorists, a military source confirmed.

Further terrorists were eliminated in air strikes carried out by Syrian warplanes against terrorist organizations in towns adjacent to the Kafraya and al-Fo’a towns in Idleb countryside.

The airstrikes came after terrorists resumed shelling the towns of Kafraya and al-Fo’a in the wake of the failure of reaching an agreement in Zabadani city in Damascus countryside.

There were also air strikes against terrorists affiliated to the so-caleld the ‘Jaish al_Fateh’ [Army of the Conquest] in the southern countryside of Idleb and in al-Ghab plain in Hama countryside.

“A training camp for al-Nusra Front was completely destroyed and scores of terrorists were killed in Anb town in Idleb countryside,” sources said, pointing out that 4 vehicles for the ‘Jaish al-Fateh’ terrorists were destroyed in al-Ghab plain in Hama countryside.

In another development, the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel confirmed resumption of military operations in Zabadani city north-west of Damascus after the end of the two-day truce.

It indicated that the al-Jabha al-Shameyeh [al-Shameyeh Front] declared 8 towns in the northern countryside of Aleppo as military areas due to clashes with ISIS.

The towns area Mare’a, Kafer Qares, Tal Qrah, Ehres, al-Sheikh Essa, Jebrin, Kafer Naseh and Masqan.  

A 12 hours curfew imposed in the said towns.
