Syrian army kills scores of terrorists in northern and southern fronts
PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has continued to target terrorist hideouts outside Daraa, Quneitra, Damascus, Aleppo, Hama, Homs, Idlib and Der Ezzour, according to the official news agency (SANA).
The agency quoted today a military source as saying that army units killed many terrorists and destroyed several terrorist hideouts plus arms caches and vehicles in the northern countryside of Daraa.
Terrorists linked to the al-Nusra Front, the ‘al-Mothanna’ movement, the ‘Jerod Horan’ brigade and the ‘Hamza Asadollah’ brigade spread in Ibta’a, al-Thoraya, al-Fqe’a, Kafr Nasej, Aqraba, al-Mal and al-Tiha towns in the eastern countryside of Daraa.
About 85km north of Daraa, precisely in Quneitra province, army units carried out qualitative operations against al-Nusra Front hideouts in Mas’hara town in the eastern countryside of the province and struck terrorist groupings in al-Horreyeh town.
A military source declared that several vehicles belonging to terrorists were destroyed at the square of Nab’a al-Sakher town outside Quneitra.
Around 1km far away from the occupied Golan, an army unit eliminated an armed terrorist group south-west of Beit Jen area in Damascus countryside.
Leader in ‘Islam army’ killed
More terrorists were killed as army units struck their hideouts in an area located west of al-Habbareyeh town in the southwestern countryside of Damascus, which is adjacent to the northern countryside of Daraa.
Add to that, army units killed many mercenaries during strikes against terrorist hideouts in the northern farms of Jesrin town in the heart of the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus.
The strikes synchronized with clashes between an army unit and armed terrorist group in Alya farms in the northern edge of Duma district.
A leader in the so-called the ‘Islam Army’, Ismael al-Halboni, was killed in the clashes.
Well over 8 terrorists were also killed when an army unit targeted terrorist hideouts in Jobar quarter near Damascus.
Terrorists fired today 7 rockets on al-Abbaseyen area in Damascus, causing material damage.
Moving towards the north of the country, SANA reported that army units pounded many terrorist hideouts and killed scores of terrorists in Handarat camp, farms west of Handarat, Hayyan, Andan, Hritan and on the outskirts of Ratyan, Karfor, Tal Msibin and al-Mallah farms.
More than 12 terrorist organizations spread in and outside Aleppo.
Elsewhere, army units targeted terrorist hideouts in the northern and eastern countryside of Homs and Hama and outside Idlib and Der Ezzour.
