Syrian army kills over 20 terrorists, pounds terrorist hideouts

PROVINCES,(ST)_Over 20 terrorists were killed in Idlib countryside and a hideout of terrorist ringleaders was pounded near Jordanian border during today’s operations, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency reported today that army units eliminated 20 terrorists, most of them of foreign nationalities, and destroyed 3 cars and heavy gun belonging to them on Idlib-Harem road in Idlib countryside.

It added that army units carried out qualitative operations against terrorist hideouts in Sa’ed town in the eastern Badia of Sweida where a terrorist hideout was obliterated and a vehicle equipped with heavy machine gun was destroyed.

Many terrorist were killed and injured in the operations , a military source confirmed.

Terrorist organizations infiltrate through Sweida Badia into Daraa countryside and convey weapons in order to support the terrorists there.

In another development, army units pounded a hideout of terrorist ringleaders in al-Jeza town, which lies 13km faraway from Jordanian border , and destroyed vehicles and weapons belonging to terrorist in a concentrated operation on the outskirts of Smad town , south of Bosra al-Sham city, in the eastern countryside of Daraa.

Dozens of al-Nusra Front terrorists killed

There were also operations against terrorist organizations in Tal Antar, Tal al-Mal, al-Mal towns, Inkhel, al-Fqe’a, al-Tiha and Ibta’a in the same province [Daraa].

While in Quneitra countryside, army units killed dozens of terrorists linked to al-Nusra Front in Rasm al-Khawaled town and destroyed an arms cache in Em al-Batneh town.

Moving towards the central region, an army unit repelled ISIS terrorists’ attack on Ibla gas pipeline , north-west of Em al-Tababer town in Homs countryside.
