Syrian army kills many terrorists outside Daraa, Damascus, Hassaka

PROVINCES,(ST)_Military sources have confirmed the death of many terrorists in the ongoing operations outside Daraa and Damascus, as clashes have erupted between an army unit and ISIS terrorists outside Hassaka.

Today’s military operations in Daraa countryside targeted terrorist organizations groupings in Tal Antar, Tal al-Alaqeyeh, Kafer Nasej town, Semlin town and in the northern hill of Zemrin town as well as in al-Jeza, Ma’araba, Bosra al-Sham and surrounding of Athman town in Daraa countryside, a military source told the official news agency (SANA).

The source added that many terrorists were killed and injured in the said areas.

Further terrorists were eliminated in Kherbet al-Sultan area that lies south-west Der Maker town over which army units regained control two days ago, and in the northern area of Sa’asa’a town in Damascus countryside.

The terrorist organizations operating in the southern region receive orders from Amman military operations center being run by French, British, Saudi and Israeli intelligence agencies.

In this context, the Alikhbaria Syria TV channel broadcasted a video posted by activists showing many Doshka cars moving from Saudi Arabia towards Jordan in order to be sent to terrorist organizations in Syria.  

Clashes with  #ISIS

Meanwhile, there were clashes between an army unit and terrorists linked to the ISIS [its Arabic acronym is Daesh] on Jabal Abdulaziz road, about 25km west of Hassaka.

The clashes resulted in the death of many terrorists, according to SANA, which added that another army unit targeted ISIS terrorist grouping in Tal Ahmad town in the southern countryside of Qameshli.

ISIS car equipped with Doshka machinegun was destroyed in Tal Ahmad town.

Al-Freij in southern region  

Last night, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, Defense Minister Fahd Jassem al-Freij reiterated continuity of war against terrorist gangs till restoration of stability and peace to all areas in the country.

Al-Freij’s remark came during his field visit to military sites and towns in the southern region that were recaptured by army units.

He conveyed president Bashar al-Assad’s greetings to the fighters in the southern region, stressing that the achievements made by Syrian Arab army and popular defense groups represent the big support they receive from Syrian people in confronting the Zionist enemy’s tools.
