Syrian army kills hundreds of terrorists in Aleppo, as Russian airstrikes destroys ISIS command centers plus arms depots in Idleb and Raqqa

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has killed hundreds of terrorists and destroyed 25 vehicles for them in Aleppo province, as Russian airstrikes destroy terrorists’ command centers and arms caches in Idleb and Raqqa.

According to a military source, Syrian warplanes bombed ISIS sites in Hmimeh and Em al-Amad town in the eastern countryside of Aleppo in parallel with carrying intensified operations against ISIS terrorists in towns of Der Hafer, Tridem, Blat, Tal Sabee, al-Jadedeh, Ein Saeb, Tallet al-Shawaya and al-Sheikh Ahmad in the same province.

The source added that army units inflicted heavy losses on terrorists affiliated to ISIS [also known as IS or ITIL or Daesh] during qualitative operations on the outskirts of the Air Forces Academy and destroyed vehicles belonging to terrorist organizations in Mayer town in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

There were also operations against terrorist organizations in Daret Ezza city in the western countryside of the same province and in al-Amereyeh town in the southern countryside as well as on the outskirts of al-Nairab airbase on the eastern edge of Aleppo city.

The operations in Aleppo resulted in the death of hundreds of terrorists, according to a military source.

25 vehicles for terrorist destroyed

Meanwhile, field sources told the official news agency (SANA) that an army unit targeted terrorists affiliated to the so-called the ‘Soqor al-jabal’ battalion on al-Kastillo road and destroyed 25 vehicles belonging to terrorists in Tadef, Rasm al-Imam, al-Kastillo, al-Layramon and Mare’a in Aleppo province.

Moving towards the south of the country, army units killed the military leader of the ‘Ahrar al-Sham Movement’ , dubbed Abo Khalefa al-Mhemid, plus leader in the “Jond al-Malahem’ group’, dubbed Abo Abdallah nahteh, in the northern countryside of Quneitra.

Further terrorists affiliated to the al-Nusra Front were eliminated  in and outside Daraa, as army units in cooperation with popular defense groups killed more terrorists in al-Ghotheh town I the southwestern countryside of Sweida.

While in Idleb and Hama provinces, Syrian warplanes hit sites of ISIS , al-Nusra Front and the ‘Jaish al-Fateh’ terrorists in al-Latamnehm, Kafer Zetta, Maaret al-No’aman,  Khan Shekhon, Tal Maraq and al-Hbit towns, according to SANA.

The agency indicated that army units continued to targeted terrorist organizations in the northern countryside of Lattakia and in Homs countryside.

Russian airstrikes  have disrupted the command system, inventory and logistics of the terrorist organization

In another development, Russian air forces in cooperation with Syrian ones destroyed a training camp, bomb-making factories, 3 arms depots and 4 command centers for ISIS terrorists in Jesr al-Shogur area in Ildeb countryside, according to a military source.

“Another training camp plus an arms depot  were destroyed on the outskirts of al-Tabaqa city in Raqqa province,” the source said.

In details, RT quoted Russian Defense Minister as saying that air forces hit 10 ISIS targets in Syria in the past 24 hours.

Armored Sukhoi Su-25 ground-support fighter jets have attacked a jihadist training center in Idlib province, also destroying a workshop producing suicide belts, according to the newly-released Defense Ministry report.

Three depots with munitions, arms and material assets have been eliminated with pinpoint strikes. As a result of direct hits from KAB-500 air bombs, installations and munitions have been taken out.

Sukhoi Su-24M and Su-34 bombers inflicted airstrikes on eight terrorist installations near Jisr al-Shughur in Idlib province, the ministry said.

Four command centers of Islamic State have been attacked with BETAB-500 bunker-busting air bombs, the ministry says. All four installations have been completely destroyed.

Su-25 jets struck a jihadist training camp in Kelajak, Idlib.

Sukhoi Su-24 bombers and Su-25 ground-support fighters have performed three consecutive airstrikes on terrorist installations near Maaret En Nuuman. All targets have been eliminated.

In the vicinity of Al-Tabqa in Raqqa Province, Su-34 bombers attacked an Islamic State training camp and an arms depot on its territory with KAB-500 bombs. The airstrike resulted in multiple explosions of munitions completely destroying the target.

According to the estimates of Russia’s General Staff of Armed Forces, the airstrikes inflicted on Islamic State installations in Syria have disrupted the command system, inventory and logistics of the terrorist organization. The infrastructure used to stage terror attacks in Syria and Iraq has also been severely damaged.

The ministry has also released several videos, which it says show Russian Air Force strikes on terrorist facilities.
