Syrian army kills dozens of terrorists outside Aleppo, Idlib, Lattakia, Homs

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army ambushed terrorists in the northern countryside of Homs and continued to strike terrorist organizations in several areas outside Aleppo, Lattakia, Idlib, Daraa and Damascus on Wednesday, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency quoted a military source as saying that army units mowed down many terrorists in an ambush near cement factory in al-Rastan city, which lies about 20km north of Homs city.

Another ambush was set up yesterday by an army unit in Hosh al-Fara and Meda’a farms  in the eastern Ghouta of Damascus where 3 vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns belonging to terrorists were destroyed and many terrorists died.

Clashes

Yesterday’s ambush synchronized with sporadic clashes between army units and armed terrorist groups on several axes in Jobar quarter near Damascus.

There were also clashes between an army unit and armed terrorist group in the southern edge of the eastern Ghouta. Eight terrorists were killed in the clashes.

More three terrorists were eliminated in a concentrated operations carried out by army units in Erbin town in the same area [the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus].

A bomb-making plant was also destroyed in the operations.

In another development, army units killed today many terrorists and wiped out several vehicles belonging to them in al-Bkara, Tal Jbin, Hritan, al-Shaqaf areas and surrounding of the strategic Tal al-Madafeh in the northern countryside of Aleppo as well as in al-Zwek, Marj Sheli, Jeb Qabto, Ketf al-Remman and Salma towns in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

Scores of terrorists, including a ringleader in the ‘Ahrar al-Sham’ Movement,  were killed on the outskirts of Handarat area and Hritan town.

Hritan town is the main crossing for terrorists , who infiltrate from Turkey into Syria, with support of Racep Tayyib Erdogan, in a blatant violation of The U.N. resolutions No2170 and 2178.

About 70km south-west of Aleppo province, precisely in Idlib province, army units killed and injured many terrorists in Zezon town and Ariha countryside.

On the other hand, it was reported that terrorists affiliated to the ISIS [Its Arabic acronym is Daesh] captured towns of al-Tolan and al-Emir in Raas al-Ein countryside north-east of Syria.
