PROVINCES,(ST)_As many as one hundred terrorists were eliminated on Saturday in countryside of Daraa, Homs, Idleb, Der Ezzour, Aleppo, and Damascus.
The terrorists were killed and their hideouts were destroyed in qualitative operations carried out by units of armed forces in different sites in the said provinces.
Dozens of the killed terrorists affiliate to al-Nusra Front and some of them are non-Syrian, SANA reported.
It noted that the armed forces killed 25 terrorists near Dmir area in Damascus countryside; 16 ones in Sheikh Maqsod area in Aleppo province; 3 ones in Aleppo countryside; 7 ones in Joret al-Shayah in Homs countryside; 4 terrorist leaders in Daraa countryside .
It was also reported that a unit of armed forces destroyed a factory for producing explosive devices in Sbene area in Damascus countryside. All al-Nusra Front-linked terrorists inside the factory were reportedly killed.
In addition, a camp for training terrorists in Jesr al-Shogour in Idleb countryside was also targeted by the armed forces, and dozens of terrorists were killed in this operation.
On the other hand, the armed forces repelled terrorists’ bid to explode two explosive devices planted by terrorists on main roads in al-Mastoma town in Idleb countryside, and other four ones in east Homs province.
Damascus-Daraa highway
However, the terrorists detonated today dawn a tunnel on Damascus-Daraa highway after booby-trapping it, causing serious damages at the scene and road cutting.
Competent authorities are working to re-open the road.
Meanwhile, four brothers were martyred by a mortar round fired by terrorists on citizens’ homes near al-Iman fuel station on the same highway.
Syria is in a state of war and its army is doing its duty as regard defending homeland and citizens, and fighting terrorist groups to restore stability and security to the country.
The terrorist groups, who are exported from 40 countries, perpetrate heinous crimes against citizens and destroy the country’s infrastructure, are funded and supported by Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Britain, France, and the US.
