Syrian army kills 6 terrorist ringleaders, resumes battle against terrorists in Zabadani city

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has resumed operations against terrorist organizations in Zabadani city in Damascus countryside and has eliminated 6 terrorist ringleaders in Daraa province amid reports of foiling terrorist groups’ attack on town in Homs countryside.

According to the official news agency (SANA), army units in cooperation with the Lebanese resistance recaptured several buildings in the western edge of Zabbadani city in Damascus countryside and continued to pursue terrorists in the city.

More buildings in al-Nabo’a quarter north of the city were also recaptured by Syrian army and the Lebanese resistance, according to the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel.

The resumption of operations in the city of Zabadani came after the end of 48-hour-truce and not reaching a final agreement on a ceasefire.

In another development, army units carried out concentrated operations against terrorist organizations in al-Naemeh town, Nosra square and Daraa al-Balad in Daraa province.

Terrorist leaders of the so-called the ‘al-Ansar’ brigade’, the ‘Tafas Tanks’ brigade, the special operations in the ‘Fallojet Horan’ brigade were among the terrorists killed in the operations during which several armored cars belonging to them were destroyed.

The operations coincided with foiling terrorist groups’ attack on Tasnin town’s people in Homs countryside.

A military source clarified that army units in cooperation with popular defense groups killed many terrorists affiliated to the so-called the ‘Homs’ Legion during the confrontations.

Moreover, army units targeted terrorist organizations in towns of Tertiah, Dwerkeh and Salma in the northern countryside of Lattakia where a car and a motorcycle were destroyed and 3 terrorists were killed.

5 terrorists were wounded in the operations.

Further terrorist affiliated to the ‘Jaish al-Fateh’[ the Army of conquest] were killed as Syrian warplanes bombed their sites in the countryside of Idlib and Hama.
