Syrian army kills 50 terrorists, destroys 5 weapons-laden cars for ISIS in airstrikes

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has destroyed 5 weapons-laden cars for ISIS terrorists in Palmyra countryside and has killed 50 terrorists affiliated to al-Nusra Front during airstrikes in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

According to a military source, Syrian warplanes killed today many ISIS terrorists and destroyed 2 armored cars plus 5 cars loaded with weapons for them in an area located between Be’ar al-Qadeem and the entrance to Wadi al-zakara outside Palmyra.

The source added there were other airstrikes against ISIS hideouts in al-Hadath, al-Bsira junction, Hwarin towns, about 77km south-east of Homs and in Wadi al-Masek and near Wasef fuel station in Palmyra countryside.

Many ISIS terrorists were killed and several vehicles belonging to them were destroyed in the airstrikes, the source confirmed, indicating that army units also targeted al-Nusra Front hideouts in Ein al-Hsin al-Janobi town in Talbisa area in the northern countryside of Homs.

Wireless station destroyed

At the same time, Syrian warplanes bombed al-Nusra Front hideouts in Rabe’a area and Droishan town in the northern countryside of Lattakia, killing over 50 terrorists, including Saudi, Pakistani and Jordanian ones.

A wireless station and many cars for the Takfiri terrorist organizations were destroyed in the airstrike, according to a military source.

The source confirmed the death of scores of terrorists in airstrikes on al-Nusra Front hideouts in Kabbani, al-Kabir, Wadi al-Forolloq, al-Rehaneyeh and al-Rabe’a towns and north-east of Abo Resheh town.

In addition, army units continued to target terrorist organizations in Daraa and in the countryside of Quneitra, Idlib and Aleppo, killing and injuring many terrorists, according to the official news agency (SANA).

Bomb-making factory found

The agency pointed out that army units in cooperation with the Lebanese resistance found a bomb-making factory during a combing operations in Barada street south-west of Zabadani city in Damascus countryside.

Earlier today, a military source declared that a telecommunication center for terrorist organizations was destroyed in al-Jesir quarter in the western side of Zabadani city.

Army units and the Lebanese resistance are advancing in the southeastern side of the city, the source confirmed.

Last night, army units killed over 14 terrorists in Zabadani city and in the eastern Ghouta of Damascus  as well as in Darayya city.

250 gunmen and deserters surrender

Separately, SANA reported that the competent authorities regularized situations of 250 gunmen and deserters after they turned themselves in to a military post in Qalamoun area.
