Syrian army kills 34 terrorists north of Lattakia, strikes ‘Jaish al-Fateh’ hideouts in Idleb

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has killed over 34 terrorists in Lattakia countryside and has recaptured more areas inside Zabadani city in Damascus countryside, military sources confirmed on Monday.

The sources clarified that army units killed 25 terrorists during clashes with armed terrorist groups infiltrated into military posts in Jabal al-Ghader and al-Folroloq area in the northern countryside on Lattakia. 

The clashes synchronized with airstrikes on terrorist organizations in Kansaba, Salma, al-Maroneyat and al-Qasatel towns as well as in towns located near Idleb province in the northern countryside of Lattakia where scores of terrorists, including 9 Chechen, were killed.

25 Chechen terrorists fled to Turkey

Media sources confirmed that 25 Chechen terrorists fled from al-Ya’aqobeyeh town to Turkish territories in the wake of big losses that were inflicted on terrorists organizations in the same province during the past days.

Yesterday, an army unit in cooperation with popular defense groups killed 6 terrorists, including a Turkish and Chechen ones, in al-Rabe’a town in the northeastern countryside of Lattakia.  

Further terrorists affiliated to the al-Nusra Front were killed during military operations in al-Krak al-Sharqi town in the northeastern countryside of Daraa and in Daraa al-Balad area as well as north of Athman town in the northern countryside of Daraa. 

The terrorist organizations in Daraa province receive orders from the Military Operation Center (MOC) in Amman, which is run by the Israeli Mossad and US, Saudi, Qatari, French and Turkish intelligence agents.

Moving towards the north-west of the country, Syrian warplanes bombed the Jaish al-Fateh terrorists [Army of the conquest] in Idleb countryside.

While in the central region, army units destroyed 2 ISIS cars in al-Salebeh farms, west of al-Qaryaten town in the eastern countryside of Homs.

More vehicles belonging to ISIS terrorists were destroyed on the outskirts of Sha’ef town, about 34 km east of Sweida city.

Rockets and munitions seized

Last night, popular defense groups seized various types of munitions and rockets inside a car that was heading to eastern Badia in Daher al-Jabal area in Sweida province.

In another development, the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel reported that 8 members of armed groups, including two leaders, from Zabadani city north-west of Damascus turned themselves in to Syrian army and the Lebanese resistance.

Syrian army and the Lebanese resistance recaptured al-Jiser quarter, the main street in the wester quarter and the ‘al-Sharif al-Idrisi’ School in Zabadani city after concentrated operations against terrorist organizations there, the official news agency (SANA) reported..

Zabadani area is located on the southern end of Qalamoun, about 50 kilometers northwest of Damascus and 12 kilometers northeast of Lebanon’s Masnaa border crossing.
