Syrian army kills 30 terrorists plus sniper in southern front, recaptures key points outside Palmyra

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has killed over 30 terrorists plus sniper affiliated to the al-Nusra Front in Daraa and Damascus countryside and has recaptured key points in Jabal al-Shaer area outside Palmyra.

A military source told the official news agency (SANA) that army units killed today 30 al-Nusra Front terrorists and destroyed an armored car belonging to them near al-Faqe’a checkpoint, al-Farouq farms and Malehet al-Atash town in Daraa countryside.

It added that more two terrorists were killed during strikes on terrorists groupings in an area located west of Athman town in the northern countryside of Daraa.

There was also a concentrated operation against one of the al-Nusra Front outposts south of al-Kark prison in Daraa al-Balad quarter in the same province [Daraa] where many terrorists were killed and injured.

In Sweida province, army units targeted ISIS groupings in Rajm al-Dawleh town, which lies north-east of al-Qaser town in the northeastern countryside of the province, destroying various types of weapons and munitions belonging to the terror organization [ISIS, also known as ISIL or IS].

While in the southwestern countryside of Damascus, a terrorist sniper affiliated to the al-Nusra Front was among terrorists eliminated in al-Hseneyeh and Khan al-Shieh farms, SANA said.

Intensified airstrikes in Lattakia, Aleppo, Idlib

It indicated that army units carried out intensified strikes against terrorist organizations in al-Eido town, Kansaba village and Jabal al-Nobeh in the northern countryside of Lattakai.

Terrorists affiliated to the al-Nusra Front, the so-called the ‘Ahrar al-Sahel ‘ brigade and  the ‘Sultan Abdulhamid’ brigade alongside foreign mercenaries, who have infiltrated through Turkish border with support from Raccep Tayyep Erdogan regime, spread in the northern countryside of Lattakis.

The Turkish regime also supports terrorist organizations in Aleppo and Idilb.

Several airstrikes were staged by Syrian warplanes against terrorist organizations in many areas in and outside the two provinces [Idlib and Aleppo].

As for developments in the central region, SANA reported yesterday that army units recaptured key points in Jabal al-Shaer area, north of Jazal oil field outside Palmyra and killed many ISIS terrorists there.

The recapture of the key points came a day after Syrian warplanes bombed ISIS groupings in Palmyra countryside and in the eastern countryside of Homs.

The ISIS organization steals Syrian oil and sells it through Turkish brokers with direct support from Erdogan regime in a blatant violation of the U.N. resolution No. 2199.
