Syrian army intensifies strikes against terrorists in southern front

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists in the northern countryside of Homs and has continued operations in the southern front, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency quoted a military source as saying that army units killed and injured many terrorists in farms of Beit al-Darwish and al-Bait al-Moqantar and Em Sharshouh town in the northern countryside of Homs.

The source added that more terrorists affiliated to the ISIS [Known as Daesh in Arabic] were eliminated on the outskirts of al-Shaer field outside Palmyra.

Meanwhile, army units intensified strikes against terrorist hideouts in the northwestern countryside of Daraa and Quneitra countryside and the southwestern countryside of Damascus where many terrorists were killed and injured.

An arms cache belonging to terrorist was destroyed in a strike carried out by army units in the eastern side of Qalamoun area outside Damascus.  

The strikes synchronized with heavy clashes erupted between Syrian army and armed terrorist groups in the southern countryside of Aleppo.

On the other hand, the al-Nusra Front declared that it will target the ‘Hazem’ Movement in the forthcoming operations as the movement eliminated many leaders in the front.
