Syrian Army Inflict Losses Upon Terrorists Across Country
Provinces,(ST)-Units of the armed forces inflicted heavy losses upon the terrorists all over the country, killing dozens of them and destroying their criminal tools.
The army units eliminated terrorists, including those of Arab and Foreign nationalities, and seized their weaponry and munitions in several areas in Damascus Countryside.
A military source told a local media that the army killed dozens of terrorists affiliated to Jabhet al-Nusra in an ambush laid between the areas of Maaloula and al-Qastal.
A field commander said that 80 terrorists were killed and dozens were injured, many of the killed terrorists were of Egyptian, Saudi, Libyan and Pakistani nationalities.
The terrorists’ weapons including RPG launchers, FAL sniper rifles, machineguns, explosive belts and rocket launchers were confiscated, the field commander added.
Meanwhile, a military source said that the army units eliminated tens of terrorists in eastern Ghouta in Damascus Countryside.
An army unit eliminated a number of terrorists affiliating to the so called “al-Islam Division” in the city of Douma.
Two vehicles loaded with weapons and ammunition were destroyed in al-Hajaryeh farms and a number of terrorists were killed in El’ab Farms, among which 4 terrorists of non-Syrian nationalities.
The army targeted terrorists’ dens and killed a number of terrorists in the area of Erbeen.
Units of the armed forces clashed with terrorist groups in the areas of Joubar and al-Qaboun, killing and injuring many terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammunition. A 3-meter-deep new tunnel equipped with lighting and ventilation was discovered to the north west of the Syrian education channel building in the neighborhood of Barzeh.
Army units foiled terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate into Hama across Sher al-Jerajmeh, killing a number of them and seizing others plus confiscating a large quantity of weapons and stolen medicine.
Units of the armed forces wiped out terrorists’ dens and groupings in several areas of Homs, killing and injuring scores of them, in addition to destroying their weapons and ammunition.
The army destroyed a store containing rockets, rocket launchers, vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns and a number of vehicles that are used to transport terrorists in the area of al-Dar al-Kabera to the north of Homs.
Three terrorists also were killed due to the explosion of a rocket in al-S’an town while they were trying to fire on the neighboring villages and towns. Four others terrorists were killed by the army units in the town.
In Idleb, the army units carried out operations against the terrorist groups, killing scores of terrorists and destroying their machines and an amount of various ammunition.
In Aleppo, a unit of the armed forces blasted armed groups while driving a number of cars loaded with weapons and ammunition in the industrial city of Sheikh Najjar.
Other units of the armed forces also inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists in many villages and towns of Aleppo province, killing a number of them and destroying their weaponry.
On the other hand, a source at Aleppo Police Command stated that four citizens were martyred and 12 others were injured by mortar shells fired by terrorists on al-Jamiliya neighborhood in Aleppo.
Terrorists also fired a mortar shell on the 30-meter street to the west of Idleb, resulting in the martyrdom of 3 citizens and injuring 4 others.
One woman was martyred and 13 citizens were severely injured by a mortar shell launched by terrorists on al-Mahatta neighborhood.
A number of citizens, including two children, were wounded in a detonation of an explosive device while an the armed terrorist group was priming it inside a shop in al-Wafideen camp in Homs.
