Syrian army foils terrorists’ infiltration bid in Quneitra, retakes square and buildings in Zabadani city

PROVINCES,(ST)_At least 4 terrorists were killed and 22 others were wounded in a qualitative operation in Lattakia countryside one day after foiling terrorists’ infiltration bid into Khan Arnabeh town in Quneitra countryside.

According to the official news agency (SANA), an army unit targeted today at noon terrorist organizations in Droshan town, about 60 km north-east of Lattakai city, where 4 terrorists were killed and 22 others wounded.

Further terrorists were killed and a weapons-laden car belonging to them was destroyed during clashed erupted yesterday between army units and terrorist groups that tried to infiltrate from al-Hamedeyeh, al-Horeyeh and Ofian towns into Tal al-Qabe’a and Khan Arnabeh areas in Quneitra countryside.

The same southern front witnessed today operations against terrorist organizations, which are linked to the Israeli enemy, in Daraa al-Balad and in the eastern countryside of Daraa.

In another development, army units and the Lebanese resistance continued to recapture more buildings and areas in Zabadani city north-west of Damascus.

According to the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel, Syrian army and the Lebanese resistance recaptured al-Silan square and several buildings south-east of Zabadani city.
