Syrian army foils infiltration bid into airbase, kills Chechen and Serbian terrorists

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has foiled terrorists’ infiltration attempt into al-Tha’aleh airbase in Sweida countryside and has killed many terrorists in Aleppo and Lattakia countryside.

According to the official news agency (SANA), an army unit killed all members of a terrorist group that tried to infiltrate from the southeastern edge of al-Tha’aleh airbase in the western countryside of Sweida.

A truck carrying terrorists was destroyed there, SANA said, adding that Syrian warplanes bombed hideouts of the al-Nusra Front and the so-called the ‘Jaish al-Fateh’ terrorists in Idleb and Hama countryside.

There were also air strikes against terrorist organizations in and out Aleppo and in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

A Chechen and Serbian terrorist leaders, dubbed ‘Abo al-Zahraa’ and ‘Abo Othman’, were killed during the air strikes on terrorist hideouts in al-Helweh, al-Rawda and Dwershan towns, about 60 km north-east of Lattakia city, according to a military source.

The source indicated that an arms cache plus a car equipped with rocket launcher and mortar launcher belonging to terrorist organizations were destroyed in the said towns.
