Syrian army eliminates terrorist groups in Idleb countryside

IDLEB, (ST)_Syrian army units eliminated terrorist groups that tried to infiltrate into army positions on Em Ettin-Establat axis in Senjar area in the southeastern countryside of Idleb.

According to the Syrian News Agency (SANA), the army units clashed this morning with terrorist groups while they were trying to attack the positions of army and the houses of residents in Istablat town, which was liberated by Syrian army a few days ago.

The clashes ended with the death and injury of most of the terrorist attackers and destroying their weapons.

Over the past hours, the army units carried out intensive shelling on terrorist groups’ supply routes in the southern countryside of Idleb, inflicting heavy losses upon them.

Terrorist groups linked to al-Nusra Front spread in Idleb city and some towns and they repeatedly attack the army positions and safe nearby towns .

On December 1st, Syrian army recaptured the towns of E’ejaz, Istablat and Rasem al-Wared in the south of Idleb after it was engaged in fierce fighting with al-Nusra Front terrorists .
