Syrian army drives terrorist groups out of several towns in Idleb

IDLEB, (ST)_The Syrian army units have driven terrorists affiliated to al-Nusra Front and other terrorist groups out of three towns in the southeastern countryside of Idleb.

According to the Syrian News Agency (SANA), the Syrian army units repelled last night attacks carried out by terrorist groups affiliated to al-Nusra Front and Turkistan Party on army’s positions in the Idleb countryside.

The confrontation resulted in the death of many terrorists and the destruction of their vehicles.

In retaliation for the attack, the army units carried out an operation and drove terrorists out of three towns: Tal Khatra, Abo Jrif and Kherbet Dawod.

Over the two days, the terrorist groups launched attacks on several towns recently liberated by Syrian army including Talmens and Maer Shorin. They also fired rockets on al-Azezeyeh and al-Rasif towns in the northern countryside of Hama.

In another development, Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel reported that Syrian army targeted by artillery the hideouts of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham in Khalasa and Khan Toman in the southern countryside of Aleppo.
