Syrian army drives al-Nusra Front out of 3 towns in Lattakia, repels ISIS attacks on military posts in Palmyra

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has recaptured 3 villages and surrounding hills from al-Nusra Front in the northern Lattakia countryside and has warded off ISIS terrorists’ attacks on military posts in Palmyra and on towns in Hama countryside, according to  military sources.

A military source declared today that army units in cooperation with popular defense groups regained control of al-Rayyaneh, Beit Ayyoush and al-Mazraa towns and surrounding hills in Qastal Mo’af area in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

The fresh achievement was preceded by heavy clashes that resulted in destruction of big quantity of weapons and munitions belonging to the al-Nusra front terrorist, which receive support from the Turkish and Saudi regimes.

Large numbers of terrorists were killed in the clashes and in concentrated operations targeted their groupings in towns of Jeb al-Ahmar and Markeshleyeh.

The operations also resulted in the destruction of several vehicles and mortar launchers belonging to terrorists in the said towns.  

Terrorists affiliated to the al-Nusra Front, the so-called the ‘Ahrar al-Sahel’ brigade and the ‘al-Sultan Abdulhamid’ brigade spread in the northern Lattakia countryside.

About 180km north-east of Lattakia province, precisely in Aleppo province, army units struck terrorist outposts in the northwestern, southwestern, southeastern and eastern countryside of the province as well as in quarters on Bab al-Hadid, Karm Maysar, Karm al-Trab, al-Rashideen, Seif al-Dawlwh, AL-Sheikh Saed and al-Shaar in the city of Aleppo.

The strikes came a day after army units killed many of al-Nusra Front terrorists in quarters of Salaheddin, Bistan al-Bash and al-Sekkari in the same city.

Further terrorists affiliated to the ISIS were mowed down in clashes with army units in Hama countryside.

The clashes broke out when ISIS terrorists tried to attack towns of al-Mofakker al-Sharqi and al-Mofakker al-Gharbi, which lie 20km east of Salameyeh city in Hama countryside, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency confirmed continuity of military operations against terrorist organizations in several areas in Daraa and Quneitra where many terrorists were killed and injured.

The US, Israeli, Saudi, Qatari, French and Turkish intelligence agents run the Amman Military Operations Command (MOC) which gives order to terrorist organizations operating in Daraa and Quneitra countryside, world media reports say.

115 ISIS terrorist killed

In the central region, army units inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists in Palmyra countryside.

SANA said that army units foiled ISIS terrorists’ attacks on several military post on the outskirts of Palmyra city, killing and injuring many terrorists.

Well over 115 ISIS terrorists including 3 field commanders were killed in al-Sekhneh town And Palmyra countryside, social media said.

In Idlib province, army units are engaged in fierce fighting against terrorist organizations on the outskirts of alMastoumeh hill and Falion town, preventing terrorists from infiltrating into al-Mastoumeh.
