Syrian army downs drone in Idleb, clashes with ISIS terrorists in Homs Badia

Al-Nusra Front terrorists and their allies have pressed ahead with targeting safe towns and Syrian army posts in the western countryside of Hama and the  southern countryside of Idleb. They also continues to hold hostage Idleb residents who want to leave terrorist- held areas through Abo Dhohur corridor for the 20th day running.

According to the Damascus- based al Watan newspaper, the terrorist groups holed up in the de-escalation zone in the western country of Hama fired rockets on Rasef and Azezeyeh towns in the same region, leaving material damages without casualties.

A field source told the paper that the army artillery targeted terrorists’ hideouts in Hwash, Hwejeh and Jeb Sleiman areas in the western side of Sahel alGhab and in Shahranaz town as well as in Idleb countryside..

It added that army units downed a drone as it was flying near Em Jalal town in the eastsouthern countryside of Idleb to take pictures of army posts in the region.

In the eastern side of Homs Badia, Syrian army units and supporting forces foiled ISIS terrorists’ attacks on military posts. They clashed with terrorists for several hours and killed and injured many of them.

Meanwhile the Syrian army warplanes carried out airstrikes against ISIS terrorists’ hideouts along the line of engagement.
