A Syrian Arab Army unit, deployed in Idlib southern countryside, on Friday downed a drone sent by Turkish-backed terrorist groups to the airspace of the village of Ma’ardabsah.
A filed source told the Syrian Arab News Agfency (SANA) that the army unit intercepted a hostile target in the airspace of Idlib southern countryside and shot it down in the Ma’ardabsah village.
According to the source, the drone was sent by the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation with the aim of attacking Syrian army points as well as safe areas.
The drone is equipped with three cameras and several projectiles, the source clarified.
