Syrian army destroys several ISIS and al-Nusra Front hideouts, vehicles in Quneitra and Hassaka

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has pounded several terrorist hideouts in Quneitra and Homs and has destroyed ISIS vehicles west of Hassaka city, the official news agency (SANA) reported Tuesday.

The agency said that army units pounded several terrorist hideouts during concentrated operations against terrorist organizations in Em al-Bartneh and al-Hamedeyeh towns in the western countryside of Quneitra.

Terrorists infiltrate into the said towns through Jordanian border in coordination with the Israeli enemy and the Jordanian regime.

In the same province [ Quneitra], army units killed and injured many terrorists linked to the so-called the ‘Ahrar al-Sham’ Movement, the ‘Saif al-Islam’ brigades, the ‘al-Forqan’ brigades and the ‘Ajnad al-Sham’  in the northern countryside of the province and destroyed several vehicles belonging to the al-Nusra Front in Abo Shatta town, south of Jebbata al-Khashab town.

Further terrorist were eliminated when army units targeted ISIS groupings in Rhom, Abo Hwadit, Em Sehrij, al-Msherfeh al-Shamaleyeh and al-Mazbal in the eastern countryside of Homs and in Ein al-Hsin town, which lies north of Homs city.

Meanwhile, an army unit in cooperation with popular defense groups targeted ISIS vehicles on Abyad-Soda road, about 20km west of Hassaka city, killing and injuring dozens of terrorists.

Hassaka countryside has witnessed a remarkable retreat for ISIS terrorist over the past two months after army units recaptured dozens of towns from ISIS terrorists.

The ISIS [Its Arabic acronym is Daesh] seeks to control oil wells to loot oil and to smuggle it outside Syria in cooperation with Turkish brokers.
