Syrian Army continues to defend Palestine and its people, says Palestine Liberation Army

Damascus, (ST) –  The Chief of Staff of the Palestine Liberation Army said that, the establishment of the Syrian Arab Army came in response to the need of Arabism for those who preserve its dignity.

In a statement issued by the Chief of Staff of the Palestine Liberation Army Commission on the occasion of the seventy-seventh anniversary of the founding of the Syrian Arab Army, the Commission said that, “the brave Syrian Arab Army, a few months after its founding, engaged in the struggle against the Zionist enemy and did not fail to defend Palestine and its people”.

The statement added that, “the battle of truth in the face of falsehood, which this valiant army is waging against brutal terrorism, came from various countries of the world.”

“This battle refined the Syrian Arab Army’s capabilities and it proved during the years of crisis that it is the true Arab army and the impregnable wall of dignity” in the face of all kinds of terrorism, the statement concluded.
