Syrian army checkpoints in Hasaka countryside again intercept US military vehicles

HASAKA, (ST)- Checkpoints of the Syrian Arab army in Hasaka western countryside have  intercepted military vehicles that belong to the US occupation forces, and forced them to return to their illegal bases in the countryside of the province.

SANA reporter said that army personnel at several checkpoints blocked the progress of the US occupation’s vehicles in the villages of al-Sibat, Tal Shamiran, Mansaf Tahtani in the western countryside of Hasaka and forced them to return from where they came.

On Friday, an army checkpoint intercepted three armored vehicles affiliated to the US occupation in Mansaf Tahtani village in the countryside of Tal Tamer and forced them to return to their illegal bases.

 Locals in the towns and villages of Hasaka Countryside, backed by the Syrian Arab army soldiers, have intercepted several military convoys, affiliated to the US occupation forces, while trying to illegally move freely in these areas. The locals threw stones at the convoys and forced them to return to their illegal bases amid chants expressing their rejection of the presence of occupation forces on Syrian land.
