Syrian army advances towards Afes and Nayrab areas in Idleb

IDLEB, (ST)_ Syrian army units advance in the axis of Afes-Nayrab in Idleb and comes near Taftanaz airbase, according to the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel.

The TV channel added that Syrian aircrafts are carrying out intense strikes on terrorist groups’ hideout in Afes and Nayrab areas in order to pave the way for Syrian soldiers to enter the two areas.

The liberation of these areas will lead to secure the strategic Saraqeb city.

Moreover, the army units struck the operation center of “Ajnad al-Qoqaz’ terrorists in a street near the building of governorate in Idleb.

The fresh advance comes one day after the army units drove Turkish-backed terrorist groups out of Jobas, Trenbeh, Dadikh and Kafer  Btih towns in Saraqeb region in the southeastern countryside of Idleb.

Most of the terrorists, who were killed during strikes on the above mentioned towns , were of foreign nationalities, according to the Syrian News Agency (SANA).

The agency added that the army units targeted terrorist groups on the axis of Kansafra and in the vicinity of Zaweyeh Mountain .

Yesterday morning, the Syrian army entered the strategic Saraqeb city and started combing operations.
