Syrian Arab Republic Delegation Presents a Set of Questions to de Mistura about First Basket

GENEVA-The delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic, headed by Dr. Bashar al-Jaafari, presented during a session of talks on Wednesday with UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura a set of questions about the first basket of Syrian-Syrian dialogue, according to SANA.

  The delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic presented a set of questions on the first basket, waiting for clarifications from the UN team on the meaning of some addresses put forward within it, SANA reporter said.

The delegate added that another session of talks will be held on Thursday morning, during which discussions on those clarifications would be run with de Mistura.

Earlier, the delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic arrived at the UN headquarters in Geneva to hold a session of talks with de Mistura.

On March 23rd, the fifth round of intra-Syrian dialogue began in Geneva with the participation of the Syrian Arab Republic delegation and other delegations following the 4th round which was concluded on March 3rd after approving an agenda covering four baskets, one of them being combating terrorism.
