Syrian Arab Army Wards off Attacks on Garrisons outside Daraa and Quneitra, Strikes Terrorists’ Hideouts outside Damascus

PROVINCES,(ST)_Army units have warded off terrorist groups’ attacks on several garrisons outside Daraa and Quneitra provinces, destroyed 11 cars for terrorists in Aleppo province and carried out concentrated operations outside Damascus.

A military source declared that ringleaders were among the terrorists killed when the army units warded off the attacks on several garrisons in the western countryside of Daraa and the southern countryside of Quneitra.

Over 50 terrorists were hit there, the source added, confirming that the army units targeted terrorist groupings in several areas in southern Daraa province and eliminated many terrorists.

Other terrorist groupings in Kafrlaha, al-Rastan and Tal al-Sanasel in Homs countryside as well as in Bani Zied, Hritan , Hanano, Rasm al-Imam, Deir Hafer, Qastal al-Mesht, al-Sha’ar, Qalet al-Sabbagh, al-Eweja and Aghyor in northern Aleppo province were struck by the army units, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency pointed out that some 11 cars equipped with heavy machineguns for terrorists were destroyed in al-Atareb, Kafr Halab , Orem al-Kobra and Hanano in Aleppo province.

Concentrated operations

In addition, 8 terrorists died when the army units obliterated a hideout for an armed terrorist group in al-Saour farms in Duma area outside Damascus.

More terrorists, affiliated to the so-called the ‘Islamic Front’,  were crushed during concentrated operations in Adra area in Damascus countryside.

There were also fresh series of operations against terrorist groups on the outskirts of Mliha town and in Zebdin, Jesrin, al-Nashabeyeh farms, Wadi Ein Tarma and al-Qalamoun areas outside Damascus.

Many terrorist were killed and injured there.

While in Joba quarter near Damascus, the army units destroyed 50-meter- long tunnel that had been used by terrorists for conveying weapons and ammunitions.
