Syrian Arab army tightens grip on terrorist organizations in Jobar quarter, kills 20 terrorists in Duma

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has tightened grip on armed terrorists organizations in Jobar area near Damascus and has killed over 20 terrorists in Duma district outside Damascus, media reports said Wednesday.

The reports clarified that Syrian army regained control of more areas in Jobar quarter near Damascus and tightened grip on armed terrorist organizations there following intensified strikes.

Yesterday, the army made progress from northern and southern sides of the quarter.

At the same time, there were strikes against terrorist groupings in EinTarma and on the outskirts of al-Dekhaneyeh area as well as in Duma district in Damascus countryside.

As many as 20 terrorists were killed and large numbers of them were hit in Duma district.

In the same province [Damascus countryside], more than 12 terrorists were killed and 20 others wounded when Syrian army targeted terrorist groupings in Jorod al-Qalamon.

The army, in addition, destroyed a 21-meter- long tunnel in al-Erfi quarter and eliminated many ISIL-linked terrorists in al-Hweqa and al-Reshdeyeh quarters  in Der Ezzour province.

An Egyptian terrorists, dubbed Abo Hajar al-Masri, were among the terrorists killed in Der Ezzour, a military source said.

The source added that the army units clashed with terrorists in farms of al-Mre’a town and killed large numbers of terrorists in al-Mayadden, Thebyan and Mohsen towns in Der Ezzour countryside.

In another developments, the army units struck a hideout for terrorist ringleaders north Othman town in Daraa countryside and targeted terrorist groupings in several contested areas in Aleppo, Idlib and Hama.  

Syrian warplanes bombed al-Nusra Front positions in al-Latamneh and Helfaya in northern countryside of Hama, media reports said, adding that Syrian artilleries hit terrorist groupings in Andan city in Aleppo countryside .

50 ringleaders from Ahrar al-Sham died

Last night, almost 50 ringleaders from the ‘Ahrara al-Sham’Movement , including its Emir-known as Abo Abdallah al-Hamwi- were killedby an explosion at their meeting in Ram Hamdan outside Idlib.
