Syrian Arab army targets training camp for terrorists in Idlib, advances in Aleppo and Quneitra

PROVINCES,(ST)_A training camp for the terror ‘Jend al-Aqsa’ organization plus a hideout for the terror ‘Soqor al-Sham brigades’ organization in Idlib countryside have been targeted by Syrian army amid reports of a remarkable progress made by the army in Quneitra countryside.  

According to a military source, Syrian army targeted a training camp for the terror ‘Jend al-Aqsa’ organization on a road linking Kwerin and Bakfalon towns in Idlib countryside where dozens of terrorists died, mostly non-Syrians.

The source added that two Pick Up cars equipped with heavy machineguns and three motorcycles were destroyed when the army units targeted the camp.

“An Uzbekistani terrorist, dubbed Abo Amin al-Uzbaki, was among terrorists killed in the camp,” the source confirmed.

It indicated that an army unit destroyed a hideout for terrorists belonging to the so-called the ‘Soqor al-Sham brigades’ organization on the outskirts of Benin town in Jabal al-Zaweyeh outside Idlib, killing at least 13 terrorists and wounding dozens.

Three Saudi terrorists were among those who were killed inside the hideout.

Other hideouts and groupings for terrorists in several areas outside Aleppo, Homs, Daraa and Der Ezzour were also struck today.

Many terrorists were killed and injured there, according to the official news agency (SANA).

Clashes

The agency added that Syrian army clashed with terrorists from Daesh organization [known as IS or ISIS or ISIL in foreign media reports] in al-Sena’a quarter in Der Ezzour.

The clashes ended with killing many terrorists.

There were also fierce clashes between Syrian army and armed terrorist organizations on the axes of al-Hamedeyeh and the western al-Samdaneyeh in Quneitra countryside.

Syrian army made a remarkable progress on the two axes, the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel reported.

Saudi officer killed in Ayn al-Arab

The TV channel confirmed the death of a Saudi officer, Hesham  Abdullah Abdul Rahman al-Sha’alan, who was fighting alongside the terror organization Daesh [IS] in Ayn al-Arab city north-east Syria.

It clarified that the Saudi officer was a Major at the Saudi Interior Ministry before joining the Daesh organization.

In northern Aleppo province, Syrian army recaptured law enforcement  battalion, al-Mselmeyeh and factories of glass and cement in the wake of clashes with terrorists lasted for several days.

The military operations that have started just since last week in Aleppo countryside resulted in recapturing Handarat, Sefat and surrounding hills.

The said areas became under army’s crossfire before combing them.
