Syrian Arab army targets terrorists near Jordanian border, while Nobul and Zahraa defense groups recapture posts from Al-Nusra Front

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has killed many terrorists north Daraa and in the eastern countryside of Homs as well as in Idlib countryside, military sources declared Friday.  

The sources clarified that army units killed and injured many terrorists on the outskirts of Zemrin town, about 60km north-west Daraa city, and carried out concentrated operations against terrorist organizations on the outskirts of the old customs area [al-Jomrok al-Qadeem] near Jordanian border.

The Jordanian border has witnessed infiltration of a lot of terrorists into Syria to fight alongside al-Nusra Front and other Takfiri organizations.

In the eastern countryside of Homs, army units eliminated many terrorists in Rajm al-Qaser area and its surrounding.

Further terrorists were mowed down in Jabal al-Akrad, Qeston and al-Hoti areas in Idlib countryside.

Defense groups seize 2 tanks

In another development, the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel reported that Popular defense groups in Nobul and al-Zahraa towns outside Aleppo recaptured the posts that al-Nusra Front had captured earlier.

It added that popular groups seized two tanks belonging to al-Nusra Front, raising the number of seized tanks to 5.

On the other hand, al-Mayadeen said that Ali Moussa al-Shawwakh [dubbed Abo Loqman], who is responsible for security file in the ISIS organization [its Arabic acronym is Daesh] was killed when a Libyan gunman stabbed him in Raqqa province.

In the northeastern Hassaka province, the competent authorities defused today morning an explosive device weighing 30kg in the garden of Hassaka national Hospital near the parking, according to the Alikhbaria Syria TV channel.
