Syrian Arab army takes control of al-Qsir city’s eastern side

PROVINCES,(ST)_Units of armed forces have impose control over the eastern side in al-Qsir city in Homs and tighten their grip on Barzeh alley in Damascus.

A military source told SANA that the units of armed forces have restored stability and security to the eastern side in al-Qsir city after eliminating a big number of terrorists and pounding their hideouts.

It confirmed continuity of hunting down terrorists in the southern and northern areas, noting that several explosive devices have been dismantled in al-Soq area in the heart of al-Qsir city.

Israeli armored vehicle confiscated

On the other hand, the Beirut-based al-Mayadden T.V. Channel aired a report including photos for an Israeli armored vehicle seized by the Syrian army in al-Qsir city.

The report showed Hebron words on the armored vehicle which contain telecoms jam devices.

Army encircles Barzeh alley

Meanwhile, the units of armed forces have persuaded terrorist groups in the northern and western sides of Barzeh alley, killing and injuring unknown number of al-Nusra Front-affiliated terrorists.

An official source stressed that the armed forces have encircled the terrorist group inside the quarter. 

Elsewhere, the armed forces targeted terrorist groupings and weapons in several areas in countryside of Idleb and Der Ezzour provinces.

It was also reported that engineering units dismantled 7 explosive devices, of the weight 40-70 kg/each, on al-Mastomeh-Ariha road.

Syria is facing a foreign-backed war that aims to weaken the Syrian Arab army and destroy national economy to serve Israel’s interests in the region.

The US, France, Britain, Qatar, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia fund and support the terrorist groups, who perpetrate heinous crimes against citizen and destroy Syria’s infrastructure.
