Syrian Arab army strikes terrorist groupings outside Damascus, Quneitra and Daraa

PROVINCES,(ST)_Army units have targeted terrorist groups in more than 37 areas outside Damascus, Quneitra, Daraa, Idleb and Homs provinces and in and outside Aleppo province, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency reported that the army units targeted terrorist groupings in Beit Tima and Khan al-Shieh areas outside Damascus and in al-Rweheneyeh, Majdolya and al-Ajraf outside Quneitra.

It added that other terrorist groupings in Kweris, Der Hafer, Maskaneh, Handarat, al-Bab, al-Sha’ar, Eye Hospital, Citadel surrounding, Mran, Hanano, Blat and old city of Aleppo in northern Aleppo province were struck by the army units.

Further strikes against terrorist groups in towns of Maershorin, Ma’arret al-No’aman, Derini, al-Nairab, Qminas, Mar’ayan and KafrHaya in Idlib countryside as well as in al-Othman Farm, Enq al-Hawa, Em al-Rish, Rhom and EinHsin areas outside Homs province were carried out.

Moreover, the army units targeted terrorist groups on the outskirts of Semlin Mosque  and in al-Jezeh and EmWalad and on Qita-Be’ayat road, Nawa-Tal Jabyeh road, MlihetalAtash-Hrak road and in surrounding of al-Khazzan al-Gharbi of al-Kerk town in Daraa countryside.

An unknown number of terrorists were killed and injured in todays’ operations.

Concentrated operations in Eastern Ghouta of Damascus

Yesterday, the army units conducted concentrated operations against terrorist groups in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus and in the eastern mountains of al-Zabadani in Damascus countryside.

Several hideouts for terrorists were pounded and quantity of weapons and munitions was destroyed in the operations, the official agency said, confirming continuity of military operations in Jorod al-Qalamoun on Syrian-Lebanese border and in Duma and Adra areas in the same province [Damascus countryside].
