Syrian Arab army shoots down spy plane over Aleppo countryside, seizes weapons depot in Hama

PROVINCES,(ST)_The competent authorities in cooperation with locals seized Tuesday a depot containing weapons, munitions and explosive devices in an area located west al-Mashtal in Hama city, according to military source.

The source clarified that the competent authorities stormed the depot and found a big quantity of weapons and munitions and devices for making bombs.

“Two terrorists were arrested inside the depot,” the source confirmed.   

In another development, Syrian army shot down an unmanned spy plane belonging to the armed groups on the outskirts of Sifat town in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, according to the Beirut-based aL-Mayadeen TV channel.

While in Quneitra province,  it was said that an uneasy calm prevailed in most areas of province two days after the Israeli aggression on al-Amal farms.  

On the other hand, The Damascus-based al-Watan newspaper reported that the ‘Islam army’ and the al-Nusra Front prevented a delegation representing armed groups in Erbin town in Damascus countryside from leaving the town to sign a truce deal with Syrian army.

The deal provides for implementing ceasefire between army and armed groups before opening a ‘commercial corridor’ ‘ to Damascus .
