Syrian Arab army seizes arms depot in Homs, records direct hits on al-Nusra Front in Daraa
PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has killed dozens of terrorist ringleaders and has seized an arms depot in Homs countryside amid reports of direct hits recorded on al-Nusra Front in Daraa countryside, according to military sources.
Several terrorist ringleaders were killed in intensified strikes carried out today by army units in cooperation with popular defense groups against terrorist organizations’ sites in Ghajar Amir, Kesin and al-Zara towns and al-Rastan city, about 24km north Homs city.
While the other terrorist ringleaders were among terrorists died in military operations in al-Hlaleyeh farm, Tal Abo al-Sanasel and Ein Hsin town in Talbiseh, around 13km north Homs city.
The operations, in addition, resulted in pounding several terrorist hideouts in the said areas.
There were other operations against terrorist organizations’ sites in Aqrab town in al-Holeh in the northwestern countryside of Homs and in al-Mderjeh al-Sharqeyeh town, about 68km east Homs.
In the western countryside of Homs, the competent authorities in cooperation with people seized an arms depot in Kafr Aya town.
The seized weapons included Israeli-made guns, Rocket-Propelled Grenades (RPGs), Kalashnikov rifle, 4 night binoculars plus big quantity of various munitions and grenades.
In southern Daraa province, Syrian army obliterated several hideouts belonging to al-Nusra Front and eliminated many terrorists in Tafas town, which lies 13km north Daraa, and in Inkhel town –north Daraa- as well as south Athman town.
An arms depot belonging to terrorist was wiped out in Dael town that is located 14km north Daraa.
Add to that, Syrian army escalated operations against terrorist organization in Idlib countryside and recorded direct hit on terrorists in al-Memtneh and Nab’a al-Sakher towns outside Quneitra.

Chief of Staff of the Army and the Armed Forces Lt.Gen. Ali Abdullah Ayoub visited several military posts in Quneitra, according to the official news agency (SANA).
The agency quoted Ayoub as saying that terrorism will be defeated in Syria by army and armed forces.
The chief of staff relayed the greetings of President Bashar al-Assad to the soldiers, lauding their high spirit and voicing pride in their achievements in the battle against terrorism, SANA added.
Popular resistance kill 3 ISIS terrorists
On the other hand, popular resistance members in the eastern countryside of Der Ezzour clashed with terrorists affiliated to the ISIS organization [its Arabic acronym is Daesh] and destroyed a car belong to the organization in al-Bolil town, about 20km east Der Ezzour.
Three terrorists, who were inside the car, were confirmed dead.
