Syrian Arab Army Scores Direct Hits to Terrorist Groupings

PROVINCES,(ST)_ Infiltration attempt by an armed terrorist group into Othman town in southern Daraa province has been foiled by the army units, as military operations continued against terrorist groups outside Homs, Idleb, Daraa and Aleppo provinces.

According to the official news agency (SANA), the army units foiled today an armed terrorist group’s infiltration attempt into the north of al-Ghezlan farm in Othman town outside Daraa province.

Many terrorists were killed and injured there, a military source said, adding that the army units targeted terrorist groupings in Daraa al-Balad, Inkhel town, al-Naemeh town and Tal al-Thoraya outside Daraa.

Other terrorist groupings in al-Rastan, Talbiseh, al-Holeh and al-Sawwaneh in Homs countryside were also struck by the army units.

Many terrorists killed  

Meanwhile, a military source declared that the army units targeted armed terrorist groups in Old Aleppo city, Bani Zied, Hanano, al-Jandol, Handarat, al-Awejeh, al-Brij, Kafr Hamra, al-Wdihi, al-Indarat, Mare’a, Tal Jben, Ezan, Hritan, Ebtin, Maryamen, and al-Layramon in and outside Aleppo province.

The source confirmed the death of many terrorists in the said areas.

In the north-western province of Idleb, at least nine terrorists belonging to the so-called “The’ab al-Ghab’ brigade died when the army units shelled a hideout for terrorists near Jaftalak Haj Hammod town.

A military source said that many terrorists were also injured inside the hideout, adding that the army units targeted terrorist groupings in Mere’ayan, Mantef and Tal Karemeh outside Idleb.
