Syrian Arab army’s today-operations target terrorists outside Damascus, Aleppo, Homs

PROVINCES,(ST)_Units of armed forces carried out on Tuesday a series of qualitative operations against foreign-backed terrorists outside Damascus, Aleppo and the central Homs province.

The operations resulted in killing and injuring unknown number of terrorists, official sources said.

In details, the armed forces pounded three factories for producing devices and mortar shells near industrial area in Doma suburb, to the north-east of the capital, where 4 terrorists were killed.

Other terrorists were eliminated in fighting broke out between units of armed forces and terrorist groups in Jarba town in the Eastern Ghouta and in Jobar suburb amid reports of restoring security and stability to Drosha area in the western Ghouta.

In this context, the Beirut-based al-Mayadden  T.V. Channel reported that the Syrian Arab army has shelled gunmen’s positions in Sbeneh, south to Damascus countryside, noting that unknown number of gunmen were killed and injured in Darayya, to the south-west of the capital.

The channel’s reporter said: “the army has completed the military operations in areas surrounding Damascus International Airport.”

However, in the northern Aleppo province, the armed forces clashed with terrorists in Sheikh Saeed area and destroyed terrorists’ weapons in al-Msalameya and al-Alqameya areas, outside the province.

Meanwhile, units of armed forces confiscated a truck loaded with 50 explosive devices, of the weight 10-30 kg/each, on al-Salameya-al-Rastan road, in Homs countryside.

They, in addition, pounded a factory for producing explosive devices in al-Rasta city. All terrorists inside the factory were killed.

It was also reported that the armed forces targeted many terrorists in Joret al-Shayyah area and al-Qosor alley, in Homs city.

Syria is facing a foreign-backed war that aims to weaken the Syrian Arab army and destroy national economy to serve Israel’s interests in the region.

The US, France, Britain, Qatar, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia fund and support the terrorist groups, who perpetrate heinous crimes against citizen and destroy Syria’s infrastructure
