Syrian Arab army’s operations against terrorists inside al-Qsir city continued

PROVINCES,(ST)_Units of armed forces are inching closer to al-Dab’a military airport amid reports of delivering fresh decisive blows to foreign-backed terrorists in the northern provinces and outside the capital.

A military source told SANA that the units of armed forces have pounded a hideout of terrorists near the industrial school inside al-Qsir city and targeted terrorist groupings in the western and southern quarters of the city.

“The armed forces have arrived at the dusty road in al-Dab’a village. They have targeted an armed terrorist group in al-Dab’a airport after it fled from al-Qsir,” the source said.

It added that the armed forces killed Friday seven terrorists and injured others, who sneaked into Syria from Lebanon and tried to attack border guards’ stations in Tal Hanash.

” A big number of terrorists has been eliminated in operations targeted terrorist groupings in quarters of al-Khaledeyeh, Bab Hod, Joret al-Shayyah, al-Hamedeyeh, al-Warsheh, al-Qarabis in Homs and villages of al-Dar al-Kabera, al-Rastan, al-Ghanto, Talbiseh, the southern al-Mashjar, Bet Hajjo, al-Amereyeh, al-Dab’a and eastern al-Bweda outside Homs,” the military source said.

Meanwhile, the units of armed forces killed three terrorist leaders and their men in qualitative operations carried out in Doma, Eastern Ghouta, al-Hajar al-Aswad, Yabroud, Barzeh, Jobar and Adra areas outside Damascus.

As many as four Afghani terrorists were killed in Yabroud area and around nine  explosive devices, of the weight 15-25 kg/each, have been dismantled during the operations, which targeted terrorists’ caches, weapons and hideouts in the said area.

Yesterday, the armed forces imposed control over al-Zamaneyeh and al-Qasmeyeh areas in the eastern Ghouta outside Damascus.

In the northern Aleppo province, the units of armed forces have destroyed two booby-trapped bulldozers and anti-aircraft gun near central prison and eliminated unknown number of terrorists on roads of al-Msalameyeh-Aleppo and Menbej-albab, and in al-Layramon, Dahret Abd rabbo areas, B’edin square, and Qabtan al-Jabal village.

More than 165 terrorists killed

However, the biggest number of terrorists was eliminated in operations carried out in countryside of Idleb, Lattakia and Hama.

According to SANA, more than 165 terrorists including non-Syrian ones were eliminated in the operations.

Saudi, Libyan, Egyptian, Chechen, Yemini, Jordanian, and Lebanese terrorists are among the death.

Syria is facing a foreign-backed war that aims to weaken the Syrian Arab army and destroy national economy to serve Israel’s interests in the region.

The US, France, Britain, Qatar, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia fund and support the terrorist groups, who perpetrate heinous crimes against citizen and destroy Syria’s infrastructure.
