PROVINCES,(ST)_Units of armed forces restore stability and security to Wadi al-Joz, Masha’a, and Aleppo road in Hama province while other ones (units) continue hunting down foreign-backed terrorists outside Damascus, Homs, Hama, Idleb, Der-Ezzour, Lattakia, and Aleppo, and shells their hideouts there.
According to SANA, the armed forces inflicted on Wednesday heavy losses upon terrorists in Barzeh, Zamalka and the Eastrn Ghouta areas outside the capital as a lot of their weapons and hideouts were destroyed in qualitative operations.
Unknown numbers of al-Nusra Front-affiliated terrorists were reportedly eliminated in the operations.
The armed forces, in addition, confiscated a big quantity of weapons and ammunitions in the three areas, which became safe, in Hama.
On the other hand, a military source told SANA that unit of armed forces repelled terrorists’ bid to sneak into Abo al-Dohor airport in Idleb province. Most of the terrorist were killed.
The source added that engineering units dismantled three explosive devices of the weight 40-50 kg planted by terrorists on Ariha road.
3 explosive devices detonated in Damascus
In a separate incident, dozens of citizens were wounded by explosion of two explosive devices in Damascus.
At least 4 citizens were martyred and more than 38 others wounded as a result of detonating three explosive devices in Khalid Ibn al-Walid Street, Bab M’salla square and near al-Akram Mosque al-Mazzeh district in the capital.
In the county’s south, an armed terrorist group tried to assassinate, Dr. Walid al-Shannor, Director General of the National Daraa Hospital.
Dr. al-Shannor, who was shot in the chest by sniper, is being treated in Daraa Hospital.
Syria is facing a foreign-backed war that aims to weaken the Syrian Arab army and destroy its national economy to serve Israel’s interests in the region.
