Syrian Arab army regains control of towns outside Lattakia, Hama

PROVINCES,(ST)_Three towns outside Lattakia and Hama have been recaptured by Syrian army, as several weapons-laden boats for terrorists in Homs have been destroyed, according to official news agency (SANA).

The agency reported today that Syrian Army in cooperation with popular defense groups recaptured towns of Ein al-Jozeh and Rweset al-Jaora in northern countryside of Lattakia.

“Large numbers of terrorists, mostly non-Syrians were killed in the said towns,” a military source said, adding that Syrian army targeted terrorist groups in Kdin, Salma, Dwerin, al-Mghereyeh and Tertyah in northern countryside of Lattakia.

Another achievement was made by Syrian army in Hama countryside as the army imposed control over al-Masasneh town south-west Morek and eliminated many terrorists there.

The new achievements outside Lattakia and Hama coincided with pounding two hideouts for terrorists from the ‘State of Iraq and the Levant’  -ISIL- [known as Daesh in Arabic] in Nazlet Rdisat in Der Ezzour city and foiling terrorists’ infiltration bids into Sheikh Meskin city in Daraa countryside.

Weapons-laden boats destroyed

In addition, Syrian army destroyed weapons-laden boats in al-Rastan lake in Homs and arrested five terrorists inside a hideout in Wadi al-Nadara outside Homs.

Some 11 explosive devices plus a quantity of drug pellets and medicine were found inside the hideout.

Elsewhere, Syrian army targeted terrorist groups in several areas outside Quneitra, Damascus and Idlib where many terrorists were mowed down.

There were clashes between an army unit and terrorists in Darayya city in Damascus countryside.
