Syrian Arab Army Regains Control of Mills Area Outside Aleppo, Advances in Homs’ Bab Hod Quarter

PROVINCES,(ST)_The army units have regained  control of an area on al-Sheikh Najjar road in Aleppo province and thwarted terrorists’ attacks on several garrisons in Hassaka and Daraa provinces, the official news agency (SANA) reported on Saturday.

The agency confirmed that the area of al-Matahen [mills], located between al-Sheikh Ziad and al-Ta’aneh on al-Sheikh Najjar road, has become under the army’s control.

It also referred to another advance in Homs province where army units are moving forward in Bab Hod quarter.

Several areas in the two provinces [Aleppo and Homs] and in southern Daraa province have witnessed intensified military operations against foreign-backed terrorist groups.

Many terrorists were killed and injured in the operations, according to military sources.

Attacks on garrisons

The sources added that the army units defused mines in the northern Em al-Serj town outside Homs province, destroyed two arms depots in Daraa province and warded off terrorists’ attacks on garrisons in al-Hrak in Daraa countryside and outside the city of Qamishli in Hassaka province.
