Syrian Arab Army Recaptures Two Towns in Daraa, Kills Several al-Nusra Front Ringleaders in Hama and Idleb

PROVINCES,(ST)_Army units have regained control of two towns in southern Daraa province and killed the ringleader of the so-called the ‘Islam Front’ plus a ringleader from the al-Nusra Front outside Hama province, according to military sources.

The two towns-al Teif and SatehZahnan- in al-Lajah area in Daraa countryside became under the army’s control in the wake of a qualitative operation during which a large number of terrorists was killed.

The fresh advance coincided with warding off an armed terrorist groups’ attacks on military posts in Hamadeh farm in Em al-Awsaj town and in Daraa al-Balad, destroying several vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns in the surrounding of al-Abya town in al-Lajah area and targeting terrorist groupings in Othman town.

Two terrorist groups were targeted on Sendyaneh-Semlin road and on an area located between Semlin-Zemrin towns in the same province [Daraa].

At the same time, the army units eliminated the ringleader of the so-called the ‘Islam Front’, Khaled Sarhan al-Jasem, along with a ringleader from al-Nusra Front, Ahmad Ibrahim al-Qadah, in Morek town outside Hama province.

Some 30 terrorists eliminated

Nineteen more terrorists were also killed in al-Qanafeth town outside al-Salameyeh in Hama province, a military source confirmed, noting that many terrorists belonging to the so-called ‘Tajammo’a al-Qadeseyeh’ were crushed in Selba town outside al-Ghab.

While in Idleb province, the army units eliminated 11 al-Nusra Front-linked terrorists, including their ringleader, in Khan Shekhon area.

Several terrorist groupings in the said provinces and in Aleppo province as well as outside Damascus and Homs provinceswere struck by the army units.

Terrorists’ missile launchers targeted in Aleppo 

A source told the news agency’s reporter in northern Aleppo province that the army units targeted mortar and missile launchers for terrorists in several areas.

On the other hand, the competent authorities arrested the wanted Da’ad Mohammad Farzat from al-Rastan city at a checkpoint in Homs city.
