Syrian Arab army recaptures towns and hills in northern countryside of Aleppo

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has regained control of several areas in northern countryside of Aleppo and has killed many terrorists along with their leaders in Harasta and Jrod Qalamon in Damascus countryside, the Syrian TV channel reported Friday.

The TV channel said that army units imposed control over towns and hills of al-Madafeh, Fifan Handarat and an area west Sefan in Northern countryside of Aleppo.

In this context, the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel reported that Syrian army moved into Handarat near Aleppo central prison amid clashes with al-Nusra Front and the ‘Islamic Front’.

The TV channel confirmed that Syrian army imposed control over Tal al-Sbat and Handarat and cordoned off Handarat camp north Aleppo.

The announcement of the fresh achievement in Aleppo was preceded by reports about obliterating several hideouts for terrorists in Harasta nad Jorod Qalamon in Damascus countryside where many terrorists along with their leaders were killed.

Other terrorists’ hideouts in Daraa al-Balad and in several towns in southern Daraa province were pounded by Syrian army, according to a military source.

Infiltration bids

The source added that an army unit targeted terrorists as they were trying to infiltrate into Othman town in Daraa countryside.

There was another infiltration attempt by terrorists from al-Hlaleyeh farm into Jabborin in northern countryside of Homs, but Syrian army thwarted it and killed many terrorists.

Elsewhere, Syrian army struck terrorist organizations in Nab’a la-Sakher and Em Batneh in Quneitra countryside and in towns of al-Latamneh, Morek, Kafr Zetta and al-Hbit in Hama countryside.

Last night, it was reported that hundreds of al-Nusra Front-linked terrorists outside Aleppo and Idlib went to al-Shdadi in Hassaka countryside after they pledged allegiance to the ‘State of Iraq and the Levant’ [a terror organization known as Daesh in Arabic].
