Syrian Arab army recaptures town outside Hassaka from ISIS, destroys tunnel plus arms depot outside Damascus

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has recaptured Rafraf town outside Hassaka from the ISIS, media sources reported Tuesday.

The Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel said that Syrian army supported by national defense groups regained control of Rafraf town outside Hassaka in the wake of clashes with gunmen affiliated to the ISIS [Its Arabic acronym is Daesh].

Last night, army units destroyed a tunnel and arms depot in Harasta suburb outside Damascus and killed many terrorists, most of them non-Syrians, on the outskirts of Duma city in the same province [Damascus countryside].

More weapons belonging to terrorists were wiped out in Zamalka in Damascus countryside.

However, in Damascus, precisely in al-Tijara quarter, there was a terror attack, according to the official news agency (SANA).  

The agency clarified that a mortar shell, fired by terrorists, hit a house in the quarter, wounding a girl and causing material damage at the scene.

In another development, army units targeted yesterday a convoy of vehicles belonging to terrorists moving from Raqqa and al-Mayadeen towards Der Ezzour.
