Syrian Arab army recaptures town in Aleppo, kills ‘al-Farouq’ brigade’s leader in Daraa

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has regained control of al-Jbeleyeh town and surrounding facilities outside Aleppo and has killed leader of the so-called the ‘al-Farouq’ brigade which is affiliated to the ‘Thowwar Syria’ Front in Daraa province, according to military sources.

A military source declared today that army units imposed control over al-Jbeleyeh town and surrounding facilities-Cement Factory, Mills, Glass Factory and Law enforcement battalion- and continued their advance into the area.

The fresh advance synchronized with eliminating several terrorist ringleaders, including leader of the ‘al-Farouq’ brigade affiliated to the ‘Thowwar Syria’ Front- his name Hassan Qaddah- on Daraa-Nawa road in southern Daraa province.

A military source clarified that the leader of the ‘Omar al-Farouq’ brigade was killed when Syrian army targeted cars for terrorists on a road linking Daraa and Nawa.

The source added that Syrian army killed many terrorists and destroyed cannon, armored car plus two anti-aircraft guns for them in Tal al-Harra and on the outskirts of Em al-Mayathen and al-Tiba outside Daraa.

Infiltration attempts

There were also terrorists’ infiltration bids into Athman and Tafas towns in Daraa countryside and into al-Mas’odeyeh and Jeb al-Jrah towns in Homs countryside, but Syrian army foiled the bids.

In addition, Syrian army mowed down many terrorists in al-Waer quarter in Homs and in several towns outside Homs, Idlib and Lattakia and repelled terrorists’ attack on several garrisons on the outskirts of Bsanqol town outside Idilib.

Satellite devices for terrorists were destroyed as Syrian army obliterated a hideout for terrorists belonging to the so-called the ‘Hazm’ Movement on the outskirts of Khan al-Sebel town in the same province [Idlib].
