Syrian Arab army recaptures areas south Qameshli from ISIS, kills many terrorists outside Lattakia, Daraa and Idlib

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has recaptured towns of Tal Ghazal and Abo Qasayeb in Qameshli countryside from the ISIS and has eliminated many terrorists, mostly non-Syrians, outside Quneitra and Daraa, according to media sources.

The sources clarified that Syrian army in cooperation with popular defense groups regained control of Tal Ghazal and Abo Qasayeb towns in Qameshli countryside after killing dozens of ISIS terrorists.

The fresh gain came a day after Syrian army killed over 70 ISIS terrorists in the two towns that lie 45km south Qameshli.

Meanwhile, Syrian army struck terrorist hideouts in al-Khadra’a, Mahmeyeh, Foronloq, al-Soda, Bojaq, al-Derra, Jabal Zahyeh, al-Kabir, Beit Shoroq and al-Qantara towns in the northern countryside of Lattakia located near Turkish border.

Large numbers of terrorists, mostly non-Syrians, were killed in the strikes during which a car equipped with communication devices, 2 weapons-laden cars, 4 cars equipped with heavy machineguns and mortar launcher belonging to terrorists were wiped out.

3 terrorist leaders killed

Terrorist organizations announced through social media networks the death of  two leaders in the ‘Ahrar al-Sham’ Movements- dubbed Abo A’esha al-Jezrawi and Abo al-Gheith al-Souri-  plus a leader in the ‘Ansar al-Sham’ – dubbed Abo Ali al-Jablawi-

Further terrorists were mowed down in several areas outside Homs, Daraa, Idlib, Hama and Quneitra when Syrian army targeted their groupings there.

Syrian army, in addition, destroyed an arms cache belonging to terrorists in Kafrlata in Jabal al-Arba’een area outside Idlib and foiled terrorists’ infiltration bids into Tal al-Bzaq, Tal Krom Jaba and Tal al-Sha’ar in Quneitra countryside.

The Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV Channel reported that a leader in the free army, his name Abdul Salam al-Jahosh, was killed in clashes with Syrian army in Quneitra countryside.

While in the northeastern countryside of Sweida, Syrian army targeted a convoy of vehicles belonging to terrorists on the outskirts of Banat Ba’er town and killed all terrorists inside them.
