Syrian Arab army recaptures 15 towns in Qameshli, wards off attack on garrison in Aleppo

PROVINCES,(ST)_The number of towns that have been recaptured by Syrian army in Qameshli countryside reached up to 22 in three days, as airstrikes against al-Nusra Front and the ISIL sites in Der Ezzour, Daraa, Aleppo have continued.

According to a field commander, Syrian army recaptured today 15 towns in eastern countryside of Qameshli and eliminated large numbers of terrorists there.

The towns are-Tal Shresheh, Hajbeyeh Kbereh, Hajbeyeh Sghere, Tal Mteneh, Seddeh, Rahyeh Kbereh, Rahyeh Sghere, Qbebeh al-Matarish, Sharmokh Kber, Sharmokh Sghere, Sharmoukh Westani, Sharmoukh Kalb, Harra, Qbebeh, Eweneh, Tal al-Rahbeh and surrounding farms.

Three days ago, seven towns in northern countryside of Qameshli, which affiliates to northeastern Hassaka province, were recaptured by Syrian army.

Another achievement was made yesterday by Syrian army through restoring stability and peace to Ghweran quarter in Hassaka.

The successive achievements synchronized with striking the positions of al-Nusa Front and the ‘State of Iraq and the Levant’ in Daraa, Aleppo and Der Ezzour and warding off terrorists’ attack on a garrison on Ramoseh-Amereyeh axis in Aleppo city.

Many terrorists were killed and injured in the strikes.

Convoys of cars destroyed

Moreover, Syrian army repelled terrorists’ infiltration bids into safe areas in Homs and destroyed convoys of cars equipped with heavy machineguns for terrorists in Hritan, Qebtan al-Jabal, Mansoura, Der Hafer, Amereyeh, Khan al-Assal, Kafr Hamra and Maysar in Aleppo countryside.

On the other hand, armed groups clashed with the ISIL-linked terrorists in Menbej town in northern countryside of Aleppo.
