PROVINCES,(ST)_A significant military progress has been achieved by units of the armed forces in northern Aleppo province, as 7 identified terrorists from Arab countries were reported have been eliminated outside lattakia and Damascus.
The military progress in Aleppo province was manifested in imposing control over several buildings in al-Rashidin quarter after crushing the terrorists, who were harboring inside, and restoring stability and security to Khanaser-Aleppo road, according to SANA.
The progress synchronized with wiping out dozens of al-Nusra Front affiliates in many southern and western areas of Aleppo countryside and in the city, accurately in Khan al-Assal and surrounding farms and in villages of al-Mansoura and Meneg as well as in quarters of Bestan al-Qasr and al-Sheikh Khedr.
Hideouts
Meantime, it was reported that an unknown number of terrorists was hammered outside Idlib and Daraa provinces when the armed forces obliterated hideouts.
The hideouts were being used by terrorist groups to plan criminal acts and to store weapons and munitions.
Terrorists of Arab nationalities
Elsewhere, the armed forces clashed with an armed terrorist group as it was trying to cut off al Ghab-Jesr alshogour road and warded off another terrorist group’s attack on a garrison outside Lattakia province.
They, in addition, mowed down an unknown number of terrorists from al-Nusra frontin al-Qastal town in the same province (Lattakia).
As many as 5 identified terrorists from Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia were among the dead.
Other two identified terrorists from Palestine and Yemen were reportedly among those killed in towns of al-Hseneyeh and al-Dyabeyeh outside the country’s capital (Damascus) when the armed forces pounded hideouts there.
Qualitative operations
In a further development, the armed forces obliterated more hideouts of terrorists (including weapons) in qualitative operations in Hajjira, Babbila, Doma, Adra al-Balad, Adra, and Yabroud areas in Damascus countryside.
They also have continued hunting down bandits in Jobar and Barzeh suburbs to the east of Damascus.
