PROVINCES,(ST)_Military and official sources have said that units of the armed forces found an arms dump in Palmyra, obliterated two others in Lattakia and further continued operations outside Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Idlib provinces.
In details, the armed forces seized today 34 explosive devices weighing 15-40kg/ each plus grenades, military uniforms and stolen medical tools inside the arms dump discovered during a mopping up operation in Palmyra’s southern farms.
They also confiscated a truck loaded with Turkish flour and nabbed the driver and all terrorists in al-Sekhneh city outside Palmyra.
Earlier, many Turkish-made foodstuffs were found inside hideouts of terrorists in several provinces.
Terrorits of eight different nationalities killed
In a further development, a military source declared that the armed forces pounded two arms depots in Rabe’a town outside Lattakia province where 5 identified terrorists of Moroccan, Somali, Iraqi, and Saudi nationalities died.
Other 13 terrorists and an armed terrorist group were eliminated in towns of Beit Arab and al-Kendaseyeh amid reports of destroying five weapons-laden cars in al-Derra town and killing 3 identified terrorists of Tunisian, Chechen and Indonesian nationalities in the same town.
More terrorists were hammered outside Damascus province when the armed forces bombarded hideouts in Jobar, Harasta, Zamalka, Doma, al-Hseneyeh, al-Dyabeyeh, Hajjira, al-Kesweh, Yabroud, al-Zabadani, and the eastern Ghouta (in towns of al-Delbeh, al-Qasemeyeh and al-Zamaneyeh), according to a military source.
The source noted that the armed forces targeted hideouts and groupings of al-Nusra Front-affiliates in al-Rhebeh, and near al-Hmera town to the north-east of Deir Ateyeh.
Hideouts in 34 areas raided
However, in central Homs province, the armed forces killed 10 terrorists near al-Amlas checkpoint in al-Rastan and raided several hideouts in more than 12 areas.
Other hideouts were destroyed in 10 areas outside Jesr al-Shogour in Idlib province and in 12 areas in northern Aleppo province.
The death toll of terrorists in the said provinces was not reported, but a military source announced names of 18 terrorists killed in southern Daraa province.
‘Act of vandalism’
In a separate incident, an armed terrorist group targeted today al-Jebseh gas pipeline in alSferah area, around 22km to the north of Der Ezzour province.
What was described by SANA as ‘act of vandalism’ left al-Jebseh gas factory, which produces roughly 1.5 million cubic meter of clean gas, out of service.
