Syrian Arab Army Mows down 20 Terrorists in Idleb, Wipes out Terrorist Groupings in Aleppo and Daraa

PROVINCES,(ST)_At least 20 terrorists have been killed and dozens wounded in two towns in northwestern Idleb province amid continuity of military operations in many areas in five provinces.

The official news agency (SANA) quoted a military source as saying that an army unit obliterated two hideouts for the armed terrorist groups near al-Shegr and Hloz towns in Jesr al-Shogour outside Idleb province and killed 20 terrorists and wounded dozens.

Three cars equipped with heavy machineguns for terrorists were destroyed in the said towns, the source added.

More cars for terrorists were wiped out in Khan al-Assal, al- Rashedin in northern Aleppo province.

Unrelenting military operations

The same province [Aleppo] witnessed military operations against terrorist groupings in Khan al-Assal, Handarat, al-Sha’aar, Kafrnaha, DaretEzzeh, Orem, Karm al-Jabal, old city of Aleppo, KafrDa’el  and al-layramon and on the outskirts of Khanaser.

Many terrorists were killed and injured in the said areas and in many areas outside Daraa, Homs, Quneitra and Damascus provinces.

Later on the official agency reported that defense forces in al-Forqlos area in the eastern countryside of Homs foiled a terrorist’s attempt to blow himself up inside a car bomb at a gas pipeline.

Three guard members were wounded without damaging the pipeline.
