Syrian Arab army moves into Damascus suburb of Duma

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has regained control of Tal al-Swan town and surrounding farms east Duma suburb in Damascus countryside and has engaged in fierce fighting with armed terrorist organizations in Tal Kerdi east the same suburb.

According to media reports, Syrian army and popular defense forces have moved into Duma city outside Damascus after imposing control over Tal al-Swan town and surrounding factories and farms.

The army units have engaged in fierce fighting with armed terrorist organization in Tal Kerdi town east Duma suburb.

Large numbers of terrorists were killed in the ongoing fighting, media reports said.

The reports added that Syrian army targeted a convoy of cars for terrorists in Jorod Arsal in Qalamon area outside Damascus. Several cars were destroyed.

Further cars for terrorists on Yadodeh road and east Tisia town in Daraa countryside were destroyed.

Moreover, Syrian army carried out operations outside Idlib, Daraa, Aleppo and Homs during which many hideouts for terrorists were pounded.

Ringleaders’ hideout outside Homs pounded

A hideout for the so-called the ‘al-Battar’ brigade organization in al-Taman’a area and a bomb-making factory plus a tunnel in Taftinaz area in northwestern province of Idlib were wiped up by Syrian army, a military source declared.

Another hideout for terrorists’ leaders east al-Kom town in Homs countryside was obliterated amid continuity of strikes against terrorist groupings in several areas outside Homs.

On the other hand, many terrorists were killed and injured in an explosion of a car loaded with mines and munitions east Syriatel area in Palmyra countryside.
