Syrian Arab army kills Saudi, Kuwaiti, Egyptian and Jordanian mercenaries in Damascus countryside
PROVINCES,(ST)_Several Saudi, Kuwaiti, Egyptian and Jordanian mercenaries have been among terrorists killed by Syrian army in the southwestern countryside of Damascus, a military source declared Sunday.
The source said army units targeted terrorist hideouts in the al-Fosoul al-Ar’baa’ Street in Khan al-Sheih town outside Damascus and killed large numbers of terrorists, most of them of foreign nationals.
He announced names of 2 Saudi terrorists- Abdulsame’a Kherallah and Abdulrahman al-Ghamedi- 3 Kuwaiti ones-Abdul Sattar al-Kheder, Khalil al-Etebeh and Samis Khalaf- 2 Egyptians- Maimoun Rateb and Malek Shehra- plus a Jordanian -Moustafa al-Damoni- who were among the terrorists killed in the said town.
The source confirmed the destruction of an arms depot belonging to terrorists in the town.
Khan al-Sheih town is located in the southwestern countryside of Damascus and it includes a Palestinian refugees camp. The people of the town sustained repeated terrorist attacks, therefore they fled their homes.
On the outskirts of Sa’asa’a town in Damascus countryside, an army unit killed and injured a terrorist group’s members in an operation against one of their hideouts in Hasno town.
Further terrorists were mowed down in continuous military operations in several areas outside Daraa , Homs and Quneitra, according to the official news agency (SANA).
Clashes with terrorists in Homs
The agency added that an army unit clashed with terrorists, most of them linked to al-Nusra Front and the ‘al-Farouq’ battalion’, as they were trying to infiltrate from Jesr al-Khrab into al-Waer orchards in Homs.
On the other hand, there were popular protests against Al-Nusra Front in Beit Sahm in Damascus countryside and in Selqin town outside Idlib, according to the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel.
The TV channel’s reporter indicated that leaders of the ‘Osod al-Ghouta’ [Lions of Ghouta] surrendered themselves and gave up their weapons to the ‘Islam Front ‘ in the eastern Ghouta of Damascus
It added that the ISIS seeks to cut off al-Nusra Front’s supply routes towards the western edge of Qalamoun area in Damascus countryside.
Army recaptures town in Der Ezzour
Last night, the Syrian TV channel reported that Syrian army restored stability and peace to al-Bgheleyeh town and killed dozens of terrorists trying to infiltrate into Jabal al-Therdeh in Der Ezzour countryside.
Al-Bgheleyeh town lies in the western countryside of Der Ezzour near the faculty of Agriculture over which army units and popular defense groups regained control last month.
